KETexts is a service we provide to those that want us to prepare a text they need to read quickly and be able to recall with 100% accuracy. This has proved to be a natural follow-on for those who have taken our Cognitive Skills courses and want to go on to apply this training to their everyday lives. For example we had a student who took our courses and then wanted us to KEText his 'O' level history subject. This subject covered 3 main areas - the history of Africa, Europe and the Americas. We KMapped the entire thing for him resulting in 47 KMaps that he was trained to use. His final grade in his 'O' Level history paper...a resounding A! This work we did for him then led us to work on one particular book he needed KMapped - "The Scramble for Africa" by Pakenham. We are still working on this and can foresee the 37 chapters of that book KMapping into 37 KMaps that could be learned in about 2 weeks becoming the framework for a KREST® application to the book enabling 5,000 words per minute reading speed or a complete reading of a chapter in 15 minutes with another 15 minutes spent learning the relevant KMap enabling 100% recall of the work covered. Total time investment would therefore be 9.25 hrs spent on reading with another 9.25 hours on learning all the KMaps or a total of about 20 hours on this book. Compare this with what schools here in East Africa are allocating to the book which is an entire term at 2 double periods per week for 12-14 weeks and at the end of that time the students really do not have very good recall of the topic, are not motivated enough and haev been unable to 'feel' the excitement of the topic as they have been so busy contemplating with dread the amount of information they have to cram that they have been unable to 'really' get involved with the beautiful story this book tells. We also provide the training on these materials so that one knows how to use them to achieve these fantastic reading speeds and recall capabilities.
